Slide(see pic) is excellent-moving quickly without catching and having very little wear at the stockings. There are very very few dings in the horn-its really in very nice shape. The solid silver bell has a few minor scratches here and there, but nothing major. The great trombonist'La Bomba' of the Max Weinberg 7 plays one of these, and sounds HOT on it. And get LOUD when you need to without breaking up. This horn allows you to play high and long but still. The King 3B Silversonic is the stuff of legends. This is an AWESOME King 3B Silversonic trombone.
